Ledyard, CT- National Democrats have pushed extremist rhetoric in recent months, including saying “We are at war” and calling Republicans Nazis. Senator Chris Murphy is one of the loudest voices in the national Democrats’ peanut gallery. Murphy, having raised over $10 million this year as he prepares for a potential bid for President, is one of the leading promoters of violent rhetoric and is consistently pushing extreme action by other Democrats.
The day before Charlie Kirk’s politically motivated assassination, Murphy said, “Like, we’re in a war right now, to save this country, and so you have to be willing to do whatever is necessary in order to save the country.”
It looks like Charlie Kirk’s assassin took Senator Murphy’s words to heart.
Candidate for Congress Mike France said, “The assassination of Charlie Kirk has brought to the forefront what Republicans have been saying for years – the Democrats’ apocalyptic and extreme rhetoric is inspiring their adherents to act violently – and Chris Murphy is one of the loudest voices in America pushing people towards violence.” France continued, “I’m calling on Joe Courtney to disavow Murphy’s extremist rhetoric – the people of Connecticut’s Second Congressional District deserve to know if he supports Murphy’s repeated call to arms. Joe Courtney’s silence so far indicates he’s in agreement with Murphy’s outrageous and extreme rhetoric.”
